Re: Sleeve sponsor
Don't really give a fuck as long as we get a good price from them.

However, it'll make all the shirts start to look even uglier, which is a shame. One sponsor on the front is ok, but as in some countries and leagues, sponsors on the back, sleeves and shorts of a team (where this will probably eventually go) looks really grim.

Re: Sleeve sponsor
We should have virtual sponsors - fuck all on the kit but advertising plastered all over free streams like an STD. One stone, many chav tarts.

What's not to like?

Re: Sleeve sponsor
So our new sponsor is ...... MRF TYRES

A big red square on the sleeves, doesn't go with anything on the kit. looks like we have the Coca Cola championship logos back on the kit.

Re: Sleeve sponsor
I've seen a picture with MRF Tyres on the sleve, but it looks like poor photoshopping.
There are always options to make these sponsor prints look OK if they are negotiated properly, but I had every faith that our board will go for the company with the least appropriate colour scheme.
Umbro's gear looks good as far as our badge is concerned as they tweak the colour of it to fit and then we will end up with a corner shop special offer red box slapped on.
If that is the true sponsor logo they continue to be clueless & classless.

Re: Sleeve sponsor
Surely it should be HMRC - they should sponsor our socks, too, given that we cost the taxpayer an arm and a leg.

Re: Sleeve sponsor
I had been relieved that we didn't have one at the start of the season. I didn't imagine we could add it after a few games.

Some look ok, such as Man City's. Some look bad, like Leicester. Ours look terrible. Swansea only sell their shirts with the patches on, I guess we will end up doing the same.

Re: Sleeve sponsor
Looks pathetic. Hopefully they remove the red and just leave the letters. Still a shambles though. Will end up like south America eventually where you are trying to find the players name amongst a sea of shit logos

Tasteless is not a poor choice of word.
